Our History

White Horse Missions was founded by Art McCraw in 2013, after twenty years invested in the international mission field.  God's calling on his life led to the inception of this ministry.  Art's passion for the people and culture of Central America gave direct focus for this people group.

White Horse Missions began as a small group of individuals comprised of a Board of Directors under the vision and leadership of our founder. Short-term mission trips began with the intent of building relationships with pastors, educating church leadership, and building churches. Today, WHM has evolved into a 501(c)3 non-profit organization consisting of an Executive Team and Board of Directors with a vision for church multiplication.

Construction of the Medical Clinic in Choluteca, Honduras begins. The Medical Clinic is a crucial part of our ministry to Honduras. The first floor is comprised of a waiting area, a pharmacy, private medical examination rooms and a fully functioning bathroom.

Upstairs functions as a place for mission teams to stay while they serve in Honduras.

Teams traveling with White Horse complete mission projects to carry out construction work, others host medical clinics with medical professionals, and some host Vacation Bible School with native churches.

Over these three years, the Lord has worked through our ministry in incredible ways. Many new connections with Pastors have been made and White Horse's mission continues to grow according to the Lord's will.

COVID-19 has impacted and changed our world in many ways. Though we have been unable to travel to and from the countries we serve in Central America, the Lord has continued to be faithful through these uncertain times. Latin America has been hit hard, and through generous donations and the Lord's steadfastness White Horse has been able to provide financial support to our partnered Pastors in each country to fund their ministries.

White Horse Missions goals for 2022 will consist of:

  • Expansion of our seminary training program into Costa Rica and Guatemala.
  • Build partnerships with US churches for short-term trips.
  • Minister to our brothers and sisters with desperate need of humanitarian aid.

OUR vision

  • Educate pastors with sound doctrine.
  • Partner with pastors who also have a vision for church multiplication.
  • Bring humanitarian services to our partnering churches experiencing dramatic need.
  • Experience a house church planting movement across Central America.
  • Build partnerships with US churches who desire to develop an international program within their church.
  • Bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the unreached.

For the Glory of God!
